Swinger A classic. Born in the 1950's, finishing production in the 1960's, these Japanese lighters were some of the most popular ever made. These styles were produced as promotional items for thousands of bars, businesses, clubs, Air Force squadrons, etc. Recently, these have gained status as collectors items. Enterprising retailers have found some well-loved originals, restored them to working order, and sold them in their shops. But now through Pearl Tsubota, the Swinger is back in production. These lighters (minus the lighter fluid) are ready to go when taken out of the box. No restoration necessary! Made with the original molds, and the original sub-contractor makes the colored metal siding. It's more than retro, it's revival! As authentic as can be. The collection here is taken from 50's era clubs and casinos. |
